So, the No.1 shirt last worn by Spanish veteran, David De Gea, is still vacant.

As per reports going on in the media, Man Utd have agreed terms worth £73million in fee and wages to sign Onana from the Nerazzurri.

After weeks of negotiations, the 20-time English champions were able to agree a fee worth £47million (inclusive of bonuses) with the Serie A giants.

As far as the salary is concerned, Onana signed a contract that will make him earn around £5.2million per season, £26million in the next five years.

The African shot stopper is set to join his teammates in the United States and as per The Telegraph, he is hoping to take part in the pre-season friendly against Arsenal this weekend.

The 27-year-old excelled under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and won multiple titles in the Netherlands, moreover, he was one of the best keepers in the last campaign for Inter Milan.
