Man Utd finally settle fee, agree contract to secure £29million signing – Report

Old Trafford

Manchester United have been linked with Moroccan international, Sofyan Amrabat, all summer long and they have finally settled on a fee to sign him.

According to 90min, Man Utd have agreed personal terms of a contract with the midfielder, moreover, they have also provisionally settled a £29million fee to secure the signing from Fiorentina.

Transfer: £51.2m star prepared to join Man Utd – Ready to leave current club

Viola CEO has made it clear that unhappy players can leave the club and Amrabat has been wanting to leave Florence for some time.

He did not play for even a single minute in Fiorentina’s opening Serie A contest and will likely continue to warm the bench until he is sold or the transfer window is closed.

90min claim the major dilemma for Man Utd is that they have to sell first before they can complete the signing of the 27-year-old play breaker.

They rejected a £30million offer from West Ham for Scott McTominay and have not been able to offload Van de Beek to Sociedad as yet.

In all fairness, Ten Hag should call Moyes and accept the transfer of McTominay, who has just featured for a couple of minutes this season and will only be a bench warmer if he stays this summer.

At the weekend, Spurs were easily able to break United down and our main play breaker, Casemiro, struggled in the center of the park.

Therefore, to improve the DM position, we need a solid star like Amrabat, who was brilliant at the FIFA World Cup last year.

In your view, should Man Utd accept £30million sale of McTominay in order to secure £29million signing of the Atlas Lions star?

  1. Yes get Amrabat here at all cost. Then either try to get Gravenberch on loan or sell Van de Beek and whoever else to bring him in also.
