Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Moreover, last month, even Football Insider revealed that the Old Trafford club reached an agreement in principle with the PSV Eindhoven playmaker.

However, the Eredivisie side have now confirmed that they have agreed a record deal to sell the 23-year-old star to Liverpool, much to the despair of the United supporters.

Last week, The Mirror reported that Man Utd have stolen a march to sign the Oranje star. However, it is the Merseysiders who have moved in to steal the signing.

As per The Guardian, the transfer of Gakpo to the Anfield club could rise to as high as £50million.
