If the latest reports in the Italian media are anything to go by then Man Utd have asked for conditions to finally sign Ederson in the summer window.

According to Tutto Atalanta, the Old Trafford outfit are one of the clubs that have asked for information to lure the 24-year-old holding midfield star.

Responding to the recent transfer speculation, Ederson claimed that he is interested in the Premier League, but wants to focus on Brazil for now. He said:

“It always happens when the transfer market opens that all the speculation comes, but not only about my future, but also about that of many players. When I received my call I said to my wife and my agents: ‘Look, I’m going to the national team now.”

As per TA, the South American midfielder, whose current contract with the Bergamo club will expire in 2027, is now valued at 40 million euros.

However, as per Tutto Juve, Ederson, who is linked to several PL clubs including Man Utd, could cost around £42.3m (50 million euros).

The single capped Brazilian, who is a part of the Copa America squad, was rock solid in the DM role as Atalanta won the Europa League last season.

Moreover, in the attacking third, he also contributed in 8 goals (7 goals and 1 assist).

At Old Trafford, Man Utd need a long term replacement for Casemiro. In such a scenario, should they pay £42.3m to finally sign Ederson?
