Manchester United have been constantly linked with Jadon Sancho over the past few months. Will he end up moving to Old Trafford? Only time will tell.
Few days back, Rio Ferdinand claimed that the Red Devils could name a mouthwatering lineup next season if they can lure the England international in the summer (The Express).
Transfer: Manchester United ready to steal signing of striker – Report
More recently, another legend in the form of Paul Ince has praised the Dortmund star heavily and has backed Man United to secure the signing of the £100million attacker. The 52-year-old told Paddy Power (via Goal):
“One player that Man Utd, and Ed Woodward, would probably change their thinking on is Jadon Sancho. He’s worth breaking the bank for.”
“He’s still young, only 20, yet so established. He’s obviously incredibly talented, and although the club will be entering a bidding war if they want to buy him, if they have the chance they would be stupid not to.”
The young winger joined the German Bundesliga side in the summer transfer window of 2018 and since then, he has been absolutely brilliant.
So far, in 90 games for Dortmund under the management of Favre, the 20-year-old has already directly contributed in no fewer than 73 goals (31 goals and 42 assists).
Before the suspension of the campaign in March, the Three Lions star started 32 games for BvB this term and directly contributed in 36 goals (17 goals and 19 assists).
Man Utd do lack quality in their wide attacking positions. They allowed Sanchez to leave last summer and signed James, who only performed well in August 2019 and since then, the Welsh attacker has been average.
In your opinion, should Solskjaer break the bank to secure the signing of Jadon Sancho?
