Manchester United are stepping into a new era under Ruben Amorim. The dreaded Erik ten Hag phase at the club has come to a close and the short yet successful Ruud van Nistelrooy managerial reign has helped the club gain some semblance this season.

Amorim is set to take over the managerial reins at the club during this international break.

The Portuguese tactician will come to Old Trafford with his own set of ideas and principles, as he looks to return Man Utd to their glory days after an extremely impressive period with Sporting CP.

During his time in Portugal, Amorim mostly deployed a 3-4-3 formation with flying wing-backs expected to contribute both in attack and defense.

On the right, Man Utd are well sorted in their options with both Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot suiting the role.

However, on the left side, due to the incessant injuries suffered by Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, things have not been smooth.

Thus, Man Utd might be forced to dip into the market, and as per The Mirror, they believe Milos Kerkez will be the perfect signing for Amorim to finally replace Shaw.

The Hungarian left-back, despite his young age, has been one of the stars for Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth for quite some time now.

His performances have been incredible both in attack and defense and even recently, he masterminded a 2-1 win over Manchester City.

A fee of around £50million should be enough for Man Utd to sign Milos Kerkez. However, with both Liverpool and Chelsea also extremely keen, the Red Devils will need to be on top of their negotiation game to secure his signature.

Kerkez would be the perfect player for the wingback role in Ruben Amorim’s system. The Hungarian would add a lot of flair to the club and let’s wait and see if the record English champions manage to sign the talented left-back.
