Liverpool and Manchester United are battling it out to hire the services of Chelsea star, Mason Mount, in the summer transfer window.
As per the latest reports going on in the media, Man Utd believe they’ll seal the signing of the £90,000 a week star from the Blues.

According to Football Insider, the Red Devils have not reached a full agreement as yet but they are growing in confidence about getting the signing done.
The news source mentioned that even Liverpool are keen to lure the 24-year-old, whose contract at Stamford Bridge will expire next year.
The Merseysiders won the battle by beating the Old Trafford outfit 7-0 at Anfield but eventually lost the war to Ten Hag’s men, who have earned a place in the Champions League and could even end the season with two cup titles.
Mount set up the winning goal of the 2021 Champions League final and would surely like to play in the continent’s premier competition instead of the Europa League.
In the winter transfer window, Liverpool were able to steal the signing of Cody Gakpo, who was high on the wish-list of Erik ten Hag.
Now, it is time for Man Utd to move in and beat the Reds to the signing of Mason Mount. The England international has ample quality and experience to strengthen the squad at Old Trafford.
