Man Utd can agree £58m-£67m fee to finally sign star – Report

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s future at Lazio is up in the air and once again, he is linked with a move to Manchester United.

According to a report covered by La Gazzetta Dello Sport yesterday (press image provided below), the 27-year-old could finally end up leaving the Serie A side in the summer transfer window.

The famous Italian news source have mentioned that in the past club president, Claudio Lotito, was willing to sell the midfielder for a fee of 100 million euros.

Now, keeping in view that the Serbian will be out of contract in 2024, it is stated that a fee of around 70-80 million euros (£58m-£67m) could be enough to secure his signature.

GdS claim that Man Utd have been interested in the 27-year-old for some time and they could move in to finally sign him in order to replace Paul Pogba at Old Trafford.

The media outlet further states that the Red Devils are one of the sides that can agree a fee worth £58m-£67m to sign the former Genk man from Lazio.

Milinkovic-Savic has played over 280 games for the Italian side and has only won the Coppa Italia (once) and Italian Super Cup (twice). He needs to leave for a bigger club to win major trophies and it must be mentioned that Man Utd have been struggling for a few years.

The Old Trafford outfit surely need to strengthen their midfield and the 28-capped international has the quality and the experience to improve the department. In 27-league starts this term, he has so far directly contributed in 17 goals.
