Man Utd have an advantage over Liverpool to hire the services of Federico Chiesa, who may leave Juventus this summer.

As per yesterday’s version of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Bianconeri have been trying to agree a new deal with the Italian international but so far, their efforts have been in vain.

The former Viola winger’s deal in Turin will expire next year, therefore, Juve are open to selling him this summer.

The famous Milan based news outlet have mentioned that the Old Lady demand a fee of at least 30-40 million euros (£26m-£34m) for the sale of the Azzurri star.

It is stated that the £26m-£34m fee demanded for Chiesa is within the ‘reach’ of English clubs like Man Utd and Liverpool.

Gazzetta claim the Anfield club may only move to sign the 26-year-old star in case Egyptian superstar, Mohamed Salah, ends up leaving this summer.

On the other hand, the Red Devils have an ace in the hole in the form of Mason Greenwood.

Juventus are in the ‘driving seat’ to hire the services of the English attacker and could send Chiesa to Man Utd as part of the deal.

Last week, we covered a story via Gazzetta claiming that United value their winger at 30-35 million euros and he has already approved the transfer to the Serie A giants.

Have your say – Should Man Utd agree a swap deal involving Greenwood to sign Federico Chiesa?
