Erling Haaland’s future at Dortmund is up in the air and he is linked with more than a few top European clubs. Who will get his signing done this summer? Only time will tell.
As per reports going on in the Spanish media, Mancchester United are serious about signing the Norwegian international to strengthen their strike-force.
Transfer: Man Utd have made contact to finally sign £59.5million star – Report
Yesterday, Sport reported that La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are looking to lure the former RB Salzburg forward but they cannot spend in excess of 120 million euros to hire his services.
However, it is claimed that Man Utd can offer £127million (150 million euros) to secure the signing of the 20-year-old striker, who has netted 33 goals in just 31 appearances for BvB this term.
The news source have also mentioned that Man City can pay £127million as well but lately Pep Guardiola has confirmed that the Sky Blues will not be signing a big money striker for next season because they cannot afford one.
As per today’s version of Sport (press view provided below), it is claimed that Man Utd are intent on luring the highly rated forward and will soon hold talks with his agent, Mino Raoila.
The Spanish outlet claim that Haaland is a priority target at Old Trafford and the 20-time English champions have the money to break the bank and secure his signing.
Spending £127million for Haaland would break the transfer record at Old Trafford. The Red Devils’ current record signing is French midfielder Paul Pogba, who re-joined the club back in 2016 for a fee of £89million (BBC).
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months.
