Man Utd can secure £41.9million signing in three months – Face competition

Manchester United have not improved things in the center of the park since signing Fred in the summer transfer window of 2018.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Old Trafford club are looking to sign Spanish international and Barcelona starlet, Pablo Gaviria, better known as Gavi.

Transfer: Man Utd press hard, prepared to agree huge salary now to sign £33.5m player

As per a report published by Mundo Deportivo yesterday, Barcelona are trying to agree a new contract with the 17-year-old central midfielder but so far, they have been unable.

The famous Catalan news source have mentioned that Gavi is well aware of the fact that top European clubs are waiting for him but his preference is to stay at the Camp Nou.

It is stated that the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and German champions Bayern Munich are interested in the youngster.

MD state that Man Utd and other suitors are aware that they can secure the signing of Gavi in three months (before 30th June) by activating the release clause of £41.9million (50 million euros). However, after that, the exit clause will increase to 100 million euros.

The fact that big clubs are after the 4-capped Spaniard indicates that he is a highly talented player. Last night, he featured for full 90 minutes and provided an assist in Barca’s victory over Osasuna. Overall, he has directly contributed in 7 goals in 20 league starts for the club.

In your view, should Man Utd splash £41.9million to secure Gavi for the next season?
