The renowned Milan based news source have mentioned that having already agreed terms with the Danish center forward, United are now ready to offer 60 million euros (£51.4million) to the Serie A side.

The Red Devils are ‘closing in sight’ to seal a deal with Atalanta and are ahead of PSG, who have only offered 50 million euros thus far.

According to a story covered by The Telegraph today, the headline states “Ten Hag closes on £51.4m Hojlund”.

The British news source have also mentioned that United’s proposal is going to be worth £51.4million and they do not want to pay over £60million.

It is reported the 20-time English champions are advancing and are confident they will be able to strike a deal with the Bergamo club in time before their opening Premier League contest against Wolves.

The Old Trafford outfit also believe Ten Hag can get the best out of the raw talent of Rasmus Hojlund, who was not really a prolific scorer last season.

Man Utd missed a lot of chances against Real Madrid in their last friendly game and the manager made it clear he needs more options up front.

Will he be able to secure the signing of Rasmus Hojlund? We shall see.
