The future of Jadon Sancho has been uncertain for quite some time and Man United have been heavily linked with him.
As per the latest reports going on in the media, Man Utd are close to securing a deal to sign the England international.
According to The Sunday Times, the Red Devils are close to completing a deal to bring Sancho to Old Trafford from Dortmund.
Duncan Castles has stated that the 20-time English champions have no competition as they are the only team bidding to sign the 20-year-old attacker.
Furthermore, the renowned journalist has claimed that Woodward is pushing to lure Sancho for Solskjaer because the winger has what it takes to make United compete with the best of teams for trophies.
As far as the asking price is concerned, the Bundesliga club still want a mammoth sum of 120 million euros to sell their star, who scored 20 goals in all competitions last term. Bild claim that if the fee is not met then the youngster will definitely stay with Dortmund, who are willing to agree a new contract with him.
It must be remembered that last summer, Sancho signed a lucrative deal worth £190,000 a week with BvB (The Mail) and recent reports have indicated that the former Man City attacker has already agreed terms worth £250,000 a week with Man Utd (The Guardian).
Liverpool already have a world class squad and Pep Guardiola has already signed Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake to improve his Manchester City side this summer.
So, Solskjaer should act swiftly in the transfer market to reinforce the squad if we are to seriously challenge the Reds and the Sky Blues for the Premier League title next season.
Would we be able to sign Jadon Sancho this month? Only time will tell. For the latest updates, watch this space.
