As they continue to work on the pitch, off the field, Amorim would certainly be in contact with the management over potential arrivals and departures over the course of the season.

Now, as per today’s edition of iNews, Manchester United are considering agreeing the £50m sale of Diogo Dalot who is wanted by Real Madrid.

The Los Blancos want to sign the talented Portuguese full-back in January as an alternative to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Although Dalot is very happy and Ruben Amorim counts on him, Man Utd are considering a sale for him only because it would provide them with the funds to pursue a transfer for Viktor Gyokeres.

Having spent big back in the summer, Man Utd will not be able to sign without selling and it remains to be seen if they make a sacrifice as big as Dalot to land Gyokeres, who has already netted 24 goals this term.
