Manchester United were linked with a number of defenders in the summer and once again, the name of Gleison Bremer is in the lime light.
The Red Devils signed the likes of Onana, Amrabat, Mount and Hojlund in the last transfer window but all failed to hand the team the immediate edge and hence, we have suffered.

Onana has been shaky in the goal, Mount has proved to be an instant flop, Amrabat has not played many games and big money signing, Hojlund, is yet to find the net in the Premier League despite making eight appearances in the competition (7 starts).
So, Erik ten Hag has to splash the cash to reinforce the squad in the winter transfer window and the priority is to strengthen the backline.
At the moment, left backs, Shaw and Malacia, and World Cup winning center back, Lisandro Martinez are out injured.
To reinforce the central defense, Calcio Mercato report that Man Utd consider making a move to sign Bremer, who has been rock solid for Juventus.
The Italian media outlet claim even Chelsea are in the race and the Old Lady are pushing to sign an extension with the player, who takes home around 4 million euros per season i.e. around £67,000 a week.
In the current campaign, Bremer has started 11 league games thus far and helped the Bianconeri keep 8 clean sheets.
Juve have only let in 6 goals in the Serie A and won the last 6 games without even conceding a single goal.
The 26-year-old Brazilian has ample quality and experience under his belt and can improve the backline at Old Trafford.
In your view, should Man Utd secure the signing of Gleison Bremer in January?
