Manchester United have been heavily linked with Norwegian star, Erling Haaland, for a long time and the latest reports going on in the media are interesting.
The 21-year-old striker’s current deal with Dortmund has a release clause of £63.8million that will come into play next summer and as per Bild, the likes of Man Utd and Man City consider activating the clause to finally secure his signing.
It is stated that Solskjaer has good relations with the striker having coached him at Molde. However, super agent, Mino Raiola, blames Ole for the treatment of his client, Paul Pogba.
Haaland was the leading goal-scorer in last season’s Champions League and he has been brilliant in the current campaign as well.
Overall, the youngster has netted 70 goals in just 69 appearances since joining the German side in the winter transfer window last year.
The Old Trafford outfit have two legendary center forwards in the squad in the form of Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
However, the Portuguese will turn 37 and the Uruguayan will turn 35 next year and the Red Devils should soon sign a young No.9, who would be able to serve the club in the long run.
Have your say – Should Man Utd splash £63.8million to finally secure Haaland?
