Manchester United are linked with several proven players and now a talented youngster is in the lime light in the form of Amad Traore.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, the Red Devils have followed the 17-year-old (for months) enough to start inquiring about him from Atalanta. The Italian outlet have mentioned that the Serie A side are looking at two options. First, to slowly integrate the younsgter into the first team and second, to loan him out and bring him back when he has gained valuable experience.
Transfer: Man Utd make important offer to sign £130,000-a-week play breaker – Face competition
However, TMW claim the dilemma is that Man Utd would like to secure his signing in January and as far as the value is concerned, a bid worth 40 million euros (£34million) would get the transfer done. It is further stated that even a fee of around 15-20 million euros might be enough to secure Traore.
This season, the teenager has been in fantastic form for Atalanta’s youth team. So far, in 13 appearances for the U-19 side, he has directly contributed in 12 goals (4 goals and 8 assists).
In October, the Ivorian made his first team debut in the Serie A against Udinese. He was brought on in the 77th minute and after 6 minutes, he found the net.
The African starlet also featured against Juventus (for 5 minutes) in a contest that the Italian champions won 3-1.
Traore naturally plays on the right flank and at Old Trafford, Daniel James is the first choice right winger. We have utilized the likes of Mata and Lingard on the right wing as well but naturally, they are attacking midfielders, who have been highly inconsistent for us.
Therefore, the Red Devils club should improve their attack in January. In your view, should Man Utd move to sign Amad Traore in the winter transfer window?
