Transfer: Club willing to agree £68m for star who wants Man Utd move – Report

According to an exclusive report published by 90min, Man Utd are still very keen on signing Neves, he would be allowed to leave the West Midlands side, who have recently appointed Bruno Lage as new manaegr, in the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old midfielder is one of the most important players at Wolves but the club need to raise funds and therefore, they are willing to sell Neves and Traore.

The former Porto captain’s current contract with the Premier League side will expire in two years and as per a story covered by The Athletic last month, his signing can be secured for a fee of £35million.

The 21-capped international, who will be taking part in the Euro 2020 for Portugal, has got ample PL experience under his belt. He plays in the defensive midfield position, likes to tackle, break play and deliver perfect passes as a deep-lying playmaker.

The Nations League winner scored a fantastic long-range goal against Man Utd in the 2019-20 campaign and he has the ability to score from direct free-kicks as well. Last term, the Seleccao star netted 5 goals for Wolves under the management of Nuno Espirito Santo.

90min claim that Solskjaer’s ideal target would be West Ham’s Declan Rice but he would be extremely expensive as compared to the former Primeira Liga player, who has got glowing reference from Old Trafford playmaker Bruno Feranndes.

In your view, who should Man Utd sign to strengthen their midfield department? Should they splash £35million to secure Ruben Neves?
