More on Amrabat – Man Utd ready to bid, after Wolves game, to secure signing – Report

As per today’s version of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (press image provided below), the Old Trafford club remain in pole position to sign Amrabat from Fiorentina.

The renowned Italian outlet claim now that Man Utd have finalized the sale of their Brazilian midfielder, they will raise the offer close to the Viola’s asking fee of £26m to sign the Moroccan.

Gazzetta talk about interest from Juventus but state a move to the Turin based side is only possible if the they are able to raise ample funds or if Fiorentina allow a loan deal.

It must be remembered that the 26-year-old holding midfield star’s current deal in Florence will expire on June 30, 2024, so, the Serie A side will prefer to offload him on a permanent basis in the current transfer window.

Fred has been a hard-working player for us in the center of the park but the Samba star is highly inconsistent and not a solid play breaker.

Amrabat proved his worth in the FIFA World Cup by helping Morocco earn fourth place in the competition.

Have your say – Is the Atlas Lions star good enough to replace Fred at Old Trafford?
