Manchester United have been after Kim Min-Jae for some time and the latest reports suggest they have £53million ready to secure the signing.

Transfer: Man United pressing hard to sign £61.5m star – Offer already made

It is reported that Man Utd have already readied cash worth 60 million euros (£53million) to sign Min-Jae, who has been one of the best defenders in the Italian league this season.

The famous Italian media outlet have mentioned that the Korean international has got a release clause in his contract which is only valid in the first two weeks of July.

The exit clause is worth around 50-70 million euros as per journalist, Ciro Venerato (CalcioNapoli24).

Napoli are the new champions of Italy after a wait of 33 years. So far, this term, the former Fenerbahce defender has made 32 appearances in the league and helped the team keep no fewer than 15 clean sheets.

Min-Jae is not only a solid center half but also productive in the attacking third. The 6 ft 2 defender has netted 2 goals and also provided 2 assists in the Serie A under Spalletti.

At Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag will have to strengthen the central defense because Varane and Martinez have been injury prone and we may see Maguire leaving the club after a dismal campaign.

In all fairness, United wasted a lot of cash to lure the England international from Leicester and it is time to finally replace him.

Should they splash £53million to sign Kim Min-Jae this summer?
