Manchester United are linked with a few Barcelona stars and the latest name in the focus is that of Nelson Semedo.
According to Sport, the Catalan giants are willing to sell the right back, who has a release clause of 100 million euros (£88million), for the right price and the Red Devils are interested in signing him.
In the print version, the Spanish source have mentioned that Man Utd have made contact with the Nou Camp outfit to hire the services of Semedo.
The Portuguese international joined the La Liga giants in 2017 but he has not been able to start regularly. Even in the current campaign, the 14-capped star could only start 16 times before the suspension of league last month.
In such a scenario, Sport claim that the former Benfica defender is prepared to leave Barca in the summer for regular first team football.
At Old Trafford, United spent a huge fee to sign English right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace last summer. The youngster has been brilliant for us in the RB role this term.
On the other hand, in the back-up, we have got another young fullback in the form of Diogo Dalot. So, in all fairness, Solskjaer really does not need to sign another right back in the form of 26-year-old Nelson Semedo.
Instead, the Norwegian manager must strengthen the midfield and the attack in the summer transfer window.
