Manchester United are linked with numerous top quality players and one of them is French star Kylian Mbappe.
According to reports going on in the media (El Desmarque), the Red Devils have made a move to sign the PSG forward but they are in a serious battle because other European clubs like Liverpool, Barca and the Los Blancos have also made offers for the 21-year-old.
Transfer: Man Utd consider move to sign £218,000-a-week star in summer – Face competition
The Les Bleus attacker is a world class player, who has been in world class form for the Ligue 1 champions this term. So far, in just 23 starts, Mbappe has directly contributed in no fewer than 39 goals.
He has already won every major prize in France, so, he could leave the country to progress in his career. Moreover, he has already won the World Cup with the national side as well, a feat that even Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo has not achieved as yet.
However, it must be remembered that despite spending a lot of cash on reinforcing their squad, PSG have failed in the Champions League. In fact, the Parisiens have never got further than the quarter finals of the Europe’s elite competition and Mbappe would surely like to win that trophy.
The biggest dilemma for Man Utd is that we are competing in the Europa League this term and it will not come as any surprise if we fail to qualify for the next season’s Champions League.
On the other hand, Solskjaer has not got the squad to challenge for the Premier League title anytime soon and we are miles behind world class sides like reigning PL champions Man City and European Champions Liverpool.
So, it will not be shocking if Kylian Mbappe, who earns (The Daily Mail – L’Equipe) around £375,000-a-week, snubs the Old Trafford outfit and moves to a CL club to fight for top prizes.
