Manchester United need to revamp their midfield department and the name of Teun Koopmeiners has been on the radar at Old Trafford.
Last month, Gazzetta revealed the Red Devils have an edge to lure the Dutch international from Atalanta.
News – Report – £50million star prepared to agree Manchester United move
Today, the Italian media outlet have covered another story and stated (news image provided below) that the 26-year-old is wanted by Juventus.
Koopmeiners is the Bianconeri’s favorite to reinforce things in the center of the park but due to interest from the Premier League, his asking price is very high.
Man Utd have to agree a fee of at least £47m (55 million euros) that Atalanta are demanding to offload their prized asset in the summer transfer window.
In the current campaign, Koopmeiners has netted 13 goals and provided 4 assists in all competitions and suitors should keep an eye on his performance when he faces Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Gazzetta have also talked about Juve’s interest in Man Utd forward, Mason Greenwood, and United’s interest in Juve’s, Gleison Bremer.
The Brazilian defender can be lured if the release clause of 60 million euros is activated and the Red Devils can bring the fee down by offering Greenwood in a swap deal.
Coming back to the midfield, United should send Amrabat back to Fiorentina after his loan spell expires at the end of the season.
On the other hand, the likes of Eriksen and Casemiro are past their primes and should be offloaded in the summer.
In your view, should Man Utd pay £47m to sign Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta?
