Old-Trafford

Manchester United have the worst goalscoring record in the Premier League top half this season and must improve the attack in the summer.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Red Devils are looking to hire the services of Rodrygo in the summer transfer window.

According to a story published by Sport (press image provided below), Man Utd have made contact to ask about info to sign the Brazilian from Real Madrid.

The 14-time European champions have made it clear that the 23-year-old is ‘non-transferable’ and will only be offloaded if he himself decides to leave.

In case Rodrygo, who is also on the radar of Liverpool, City and Arsenal, opts for an exit, the Los Blancos would then demand a price of £86m.

In the current campaign, the South American attacker has regularly started and directly contributed in 21 goals in all competitions.

For now, he faces competition from the likes of Joselu and Diaz and known the situation would be complicated with the potential arrivals of Mbappe and Endrick in the summer.

Man Utd paid £86m to sign Antony two years ago. The Selecao winger has proved to be a massive flop at Old Trafford and in all fairness, he must be sold in the next transfer window.

United need proven quality playmakers to reinforce the squad for next season. Should they splash £86m to sign Rodrygo?
