Man Utd make significant offer to sign £82,000 a week star – Decision made

Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Manchester United only conceded two goals against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend but in all honesty, they deserved to concede way more.

Spurs literally ripped the Red Devils apart and Ten Hag must splash the cash to strengthen the backline before the transfer window closes next week.

The Old Trafford outfit have been heavily linked with Benjamin Pavard but reports coming from Italy suggest the Frenchman is heading to Inter Milan.

As per today’s version of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image provided below), the French international has made his decision and it is not a good one for the United faithful.

The Milan based media outlet have mentioned that Pavard has said ‘No’ to Man United and ‘Yes’ to the Nerazzurri.

It is stated that after seeing a bid worth 25 million euros turned down, Inter owner, Zhang has raised the offer to 28 million euros.

Bayern Munich initially demanded a fee of 35 million euros but have since dropped the asking price to 30 million euros. So, the deal is very close with a difference of just 2 million euros.

GdS claim, Pavard’s will is clear. The £82,000 a week star has received multiple proposals and the ‘most important’ offer has arrived from Man Utd. However, he wants to join the San Siro outfit.

Hence, Erik ten Hag will have to look elsewhere to strengthen things at the back this summer.
