Therefore, it is not surprising that the Old Trafford outfit are looking at options to replace Ten Hag.

According to ESPN, Man Utd are assessing potential successors of the former Ajax manager and one of the name on their shortlist is Roberto De Zerbi.

The Italian boss has proved his worth in the Premier League after taking Brighton to Europe for the first time in their history.

Tonight, the Seagulls will collide against Serie A giants, AS Roma, in the Europa League. In yesterday’s press conference, De Zerbi claimed he is happy at the Amex. The 44-year-old stated:

“Usually I do what makes me happy and right now that’s to be where I am.”

As per today’s version of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, apart from Man Utd, the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona also like De Zerbi.

His current contract will expire in 2026 and as per the Italian source, the deal contains a release clause of £13m (15 million euros).

Brighton demand the £13m clause to be met if suitors want to hire the services of their head coach.

In your view, should Man Utd pay £13m to sign Roberto De Zerbi and replace Ten Hag?
