Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Manchester United are consistently linked with Sofyan Amrabat to improve their defensive midfield position this summer.

Multiple reports coming from Italy indicate the Red Devils want to hire the services of the African star and have now made an offer.

Transfer: Report – Man Utd will bid £60.4m to sign £77.6m player

Last night, Alfredo Pedulla revealed the Old Trafford club have taken important steps to lure the Morrocan international this summer.

The renowned Italian journalist claimed that an initial fee as low as £19million (22 million euros) plus add-ons could be enough to get the deal done.

Today, Corriere dello Sport have reported (news image provided below) that Man Utd have submitted an offer worth £19million plus bonuses (22 million euros and add-ons) to sign Amrabat from Fiorentina.

The Viola are looking to shakeup their squad this summer and may end up offloading the World Cup 2022 star to the Premier League giants.

Amrabat’s current deal in Florence will expire next year and if Ten Hag can sign him for an initial fee of £19million, then the deal must be considered as the bargain of the summer.

The 26-year-old play breaker was arguably the best midfielder in Qatar last year as he helped the Atlas Lions reach the semi finals of the FIFA World Cup last year.

Despite being not fully fi, he helped Morocco keep clean sheets against top footballing nations like Portugal, Croatia, Belgium and Spain.
