Manchester United have entered a new era under Ruben Amorim who is all set to take charge of his first game as the head coach of the club tomorrow against Ipswich Town. The Portuguese tactician will want to get off to a winning start.
Amorim is in all likelihood going to set Manchester United up in a 3-4-3 formation with two wing-backs and three central defenders.

The current Red Devils squad has a decent crop of options but Dan Ashworth will be looking to improve.
There are players like Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez who might really thrive in this system. Despite this, Amorim will also been keen to bring in players in the transfer market would would thrive here.
One player that Man Utd have been linked with previously is Barcelona defender Jules Kounde. As per Catalan source, Nacional, the Red Devils are now interested in going back for the talented right-back, although it might not be a feasible deal.
After failing with their initial bid, the Old Trafford outfit are willing to pay around £56.4m to sign him. However, the report claims that Joan Laporta has made his decision and would insist on any club to pay his release clause of 1 billion euros which is something the Red Devils will not do.
It is Barcelona’s way of telling clubs that they have no intention of letting Kounde go and understandably so. He is one of Hansi Flick’s most important players and the club will not want to let a guaranteed starter leave at any cost.
It remains to be seen if Man Utd will keep pushing to try and sign Kounde. It would be an excellent signing but at this point, it looks almost impossible. Let’s wait and see how things play out.
