Manchester United paid more than the £33.8m release clause to sign Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna earlier this month.
Now, reports in the media indicate that they want to sign another center forward, who has a market value of £33.8m (40 million euros).

As per a story published by Tutto Juve today, Man Utd and Liverpool are among Premier League sides looking to hire the services of Max Beier in the summer transfer window.
In Spain, Atletico Madrid are interested, on the other hand, in Italy, Juventus want to secure his signature from Hoffenheim.
The news source have mentioned that the German Bundesliga side will agree to sell the defender in the current window if they receive a bid worth £33.8m.
Beier started 29 games in the league for Hoffenheim in the 2023-24 season and directly contributed in 19 goals.
At the Euro 2024, the 21-year-old was mainly a bench warmer and could only feature once in the group stages for Germany.
Alex Rosen, who is the sporting director at Hoffenheim, believes that Beier is an “incredibly fast” and dangerous forward.
At Old Trafford, the main striker is Danish international, Rasmus Hojlund, who has been handed the iconic No.9 shirt after the departure of Anthony Martial.
The Dane featured in the defeat against Arsenal in the recently held pre-season encounter.
On the other hand, now that Man Utd have added Zirkzee to the strike-force, it makes little sense to sign another forward in the form of Beier.
For now, Erik Ten Hag needs to reinforce the midfield and the wide offensive positions. What do you think?
