Manchester United signed Manuel Ugarte, Lenny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee by spending around £200m last summer.
However, the Red Devils have endured a dire first half of this season, therefore, new head coach Ruben Amorim wants to add new faces in this window to implement his style of football at Old Trafford.
News – Man Utd now want to sign 27-year-old to solve conundrum – Report
Man Utd reportedly don’t have money to spend due to PSR regulations hence they are aiming to cash-in on one of their most valuable assets to raise funds and are open to letting Alejandro Garnacho leave the club.
The Independent say that Napoli want to secure his service and recently offered a £38m offer to seal the deal. Amorim’s side rejected the bid as they want at least £70m.
Chelsea are also in this race and have held talks with the Red Devils over this deal. The possibility of including Joshua Acheampong in this deal has also been discussed between the two parties.

Although Garnacho is still just 20, he has already played over 120 matches for United’s first-team and has ample Premier League experience under his belt.
On the other hand, Acheampong has made only six senior appearances for the Blues with five of those coming this season.
Therefore, it would be a big shock if Man Utd let Garnacho leave and to lure an inexperienced Acheampong in a part-exchange deal.
Moreover, the Argentinian is a forward, while the Chelsea starlet is a CB by traits and can play in the RB position as well. So, the 18-year-old wouldn’t be a like-for-like replacement for Garnacho.
Finding a proper replacement for him late in this window would be difficult for the United hierarchy. In your view, who Man Utd should go for to replace the South American if he eventually leaves before Monday’s deadline?
