Manchester United have already conceded four goals in the first three Premier League fixtures and need to strengthen the backline this week.
The Red Devils have been in a complicated situation with Harry Maguire, but the England international may finally end up exiting the club leaving Ten Hag with funds to replace him with Jean-Clair Todibo.

Last week, we covered a story from France stating that the £43million-rated defender is close to moving to the 20-time English champions.
Today, as per an exclusive report published by Football Insider, Man Utd are preparing a move to finally sign the 23-year-old starlet.
West Ham United had a bid accepted for Harry Maguire but the move stalled due to the English defender’s decision.
However, now, the news source have mentioned that the Hammers expect to complete the signing of the former Leicester City star before deadline and the funds generated from the sale will be used by Ten Hag to sign Todibo from Nice.
Maguire was mainly a bench warmer in the last campaign and this season, thus far, the former skipper has not even played for a single minute for Man Utd.
At the weekend, he was once again an unused substitute versus Nottingham Forest. On the other hand, Todibo featured for full 90 minutes and helped Nice keep a clean sheet against Olympique Lyon in the Ligue 1 (0-0).
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
