According to an exclusive story covered by FT, Man Utd are preparing a move to sign the 17-year-old starlet and believe he would be perfect for their blueprint of getting young and and talented English players.
The news source have mentioned that the Old Trafford outfit face competition from Liverpool, who have also expressed interest in luring the teenage sensation.
As per the report, Man Utd are concerned their potential offer might be turned down by Leeds United due to their heated rivalry with them.
It must be remembered that back in 2021, United permanently sold Welsh winger, Daniel James, to the Elland Road outfit. So, the transfer of Arhchie Gray, who is valued at around £50million, to Man Utd must not be ruled out.
Gray is naturally a defensive midfielder but this season, he has mainly featured in the right back position for the Whites.
So far, in 22 starts in the Championship, the youngster has helped keep 9 clean sheets for Leeds, who are fourth in the table and will face Cardiff City today.
In your view, should Man Utd offer £50million to sign Gray, who will turn 18 in two months?
