Manchester United have been trying to lure a quality play breaker in the midfield and once again, the name of Morten Hjulmand is in the lime light.
Reports in Portugal have suggested that the Red Devils are plotting a move to sign the Danish DM in case they fail to land Manuel Ugarte from PSG.

Last month, we covered a story via GMS claiming that the Old Trafford club are ready to sign the Sporting CP play breaker regardless of who they appoint as a manager.
According to Correio da Manha, Morten Hjulmand is the one ‘wanted’ by Man Utd to strengthen things in the center of the park.
The Lisbon based news source claim that the 20-time English champions do not want to pay 70 million euros to sign Ugarte from PSG.
Therefore, they now want to sign Hjulmand. However, as per CdM, the Lions will not offer any sort of discounts for their prized asset either.
It is stated that Man Utd will have to activate the release clause of £67.5m (80 million euros) to lure the 25-year-old midfielder this summer.
After the departure of former Liverpool defender, Sebastien Coates, to his boyhood club, Nacional, Hjulmand has been named the club captain and after assuming the role, he stated:
“I am ready for the role of team captain”
Hence, there is no way Sporting will will drop the valuation of £67.5m for their skipper, who was a key member of Ruben Amorim’s title winning squad last term.
Moreover, he was also impressive for the national side at the European Championships.
In your view, who should Man Utd sign to improve their No.6 position this summer?
