If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are once again linked with Moussa Dembele.
In the winter transfer window, the Red Devils (Foot Mercato) were reportedly prepared to launch a move to sign the French striker but in the end, he stayed put with Lyon.
Now, The Sun have covered an exclusive story and claimed that Man Utd are preparing a fresh move worth £60million to sign the Ligue 1 center forward in the summer transfer window.
The British source have mentioned that the French side value their prized asset at £90million but the Old Trafford ouftit think they can get his signing done for cheap.
Last month, Sky Sports’ transfer expert Kaveh Solhekol reported that Dembele wants to move to Old Trafford.
Lyon have not really performed consistently in the current campaign but their star forward has been highly impressive. So far, in all competitions, the 23-year-old has made 42 appearances this term and directly contributed in 29 goals (22 goals and 7 assists).
Only Mbappe (18) and Ben Yedder (18) have scored more league goals than the former Championship forward (16) this season.
Dembele has not played for the senior international team as ye. He has netted 13 times in 25 appearances for France’s U21 side.
Before moving to Lyon, the French goalscorer proved his talent with Fulham and Celtic. So, he has got ample experience in Britain but will he be able to impress in the Premier League? Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly thinks so (The Sun).
We have not replaced Romelu Lukaku as yet and Solskjaer has mainly played Anthony Martial, who is not a out and out striker, in the No.9 role. In the summer, we must find a quality replacement for the Belgian, who joined Inter Milan last year.
In your opinion, is Moussa Dembele good enough to become our main center forward next season?
