Manchester United are linked with several top strikers and one of them is Danish international, Rasmus Hojlund.
As per a story covered by Corriere della Sera yesterday (news image provided below), the Atalanta forward is a wanted man in the market but it is not certain that he will leave this summer.
Transfer: Report – Man Utd want signing of £75million creative star
The Italian media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are preparing to make a strong bid for a striker in the next transfer window and they want to sign Hojlund.
It is stated that the Bergamo side will not listen to any offers of around 60 million euros and it would take a fee of around 70 million euros (£62.5million) to get his signing done.
Hojlund left Dynamo Kyiv to join Atalanta in the summer transfer window last year and he has been a hit in the Serie A.
So far, the 20-year-old forward has started 15 games in the league and directly contributed in 10 goals (7 goals and 3 assists).
During the international break, in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, the youngster scored a hat-trick to earn all three points for Denmark against Finland. Moreover, he netted a brace in the 3-2 defeat versus Kazakhstan.
Man Utd need to end the season strongly to qualify for the Champions League and with star forward, Rashford, injured, things could get tricky.
For the next campaign, Erik ten Hag needs a proven quality center forward on a priority basis. Should he splash £62.5million to get Rasmus Hojlund?
