Manchester United have been linked with Saul Niguez and Jude Bellingham since last year and things are progressing if the latest reports are anything to go by.
According to an exclusive story covered by The Star, Man Utd are prepared to pay £135million to activate the release and agree the signing of the Atletico Madrid central midfielder.
The British outlet have claimed that the Red Devils are confident they will be able to seal the signing of the 25-year-old. It is further mentioned that Solskjaer wants the Spanish international to partner Burno Fernandes.
In all fairness, Fernandes is a natural attacking midfielder, who has excelled in his career while playing in the No. 10 role behind the striker(s). So, I do not think we should partner him with Niguez in the center of the park.
Nevertheless, the Rojiblancos star is one of the most versatile and complete midfielders in the world, who must be lured to improve our midfield department, which has not been strengthened in the past few transfer windows.
If injury prone Paul Pogba is sold then it would be a brilliant piece of business if we do end up replacing him with Niguez.
On the other hand, The Star have claimed that Man Utd are also expected to seal £30million capture of Jude Bellingham in the summer. He could be loaned out for an year to gain valuable experience.
The 16-year-old talent has already made 35 senior appearances for Birmingham this term and directly contributed in 7 goals.
In your view, are Niguez and Bellingham good enough to largely improve things in the center of the park at Old Trafford?
