News – Report – Man Utd ready to pay £130million to sign superstar

Last year, Diario de Noticias reported that the Red Devils are favorites to hire the services of the Seleccao player from Porto.

On the other hand, O Jogo, revealed Man Utd will move in with an offer to secure the signing of the 23-year-old goal keeper to replace De Gea.

Since then, Costa signed a new deal (until 2027) with the Dragons that raised the release clause from 60 million euros to 75 million euros (£64.7m).

However, as per a story covered by A Bola yesterday, the 11-capped international, who has won Liga Nos titles, is set to leave Porto this summer.

The media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are prepared to agree the £64.7m fee required to activate the clause to sign Diogo Costa.

The World Cup 2022 shot stopper made 33 appearances in the recently concluded league campaign and kept 16 clean sheets for the Estadio do Dragao outfit.

De Gea will turn 33 in November but is he past his best? Is time to finally offload the veteran, who has been a loyal servant at Old Trafford for more than a decade?
