The Rome based media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are prepared to pay 60 million euros to agree the deal with Juventus for Bremer.

It is stated that the Red Devils are in pole position to secure the former Torino defender and behind them, there is Newcastle United, who also want to sign him.

CdS claim Man Utd are set to appoint Dan Ashworth as the new sporting director from the Magpies and the transfer strategy is to lure proven quality players under the age of 30.

Bremer turned 27 earlier this month and is considered as the ideal candidate to improve the squad at Old Trafford.

The media outlet claims that for Juve, it would be a technically painful transfer but it would put things right as far as the club’s finances are concerned.

To improve the budget, the Bianconeri are prepared to ‘sacrifice’ the £152,000 a week star, who has been the leader of their defense in the current campaign.

Man Utd need a strong defender to command the backline next season. Should they pay 60 million euros to sign Bremer?
