Old Trafford

After two games in the Premier League, Manchester United are at the bottom of the table and should be favorites to lose their next game against Liverpool.

The Red Devils are in panic mode at the moment as they look to strengthen their squad and the latest name on their radar is Raul de Tomas.

If reports in the Spanish media are anything to go by then Man Utd are willing to bid more than the market value to sign the Spanish striker.

Sport report (news image provided below) that the Espanyol center forward has got a market value of 21 million euros.

Further, the Catalan outlet claim (via Cope) that the Red Devils are willing to pay a fee of around 30 million euros (maximum) to hire the services of the 27-year-old man, who was the top scorer for Espanyol in the last two seasons.

In the 2020-21 campaign, Tomas netted 23 goals in the league for the Barcelona-based club. On the other hand, last season, he found the net 17 times in 34 La Liga appearances.

Based on his top performances, in November 2021 Jose Enrique, handed forward the chance to feature for the senior national side and thus far, he has earned 4 caps for Spain.

Man Utd need a world-class goalscorer to reinforce their strike force this summer, especially if Cristiano Ronaldo ends up leaving Old Trafford.

Do you think Raul de Tomas is good enough to improve Ten Hag’s squad?
