Manchester United’s big money signing, Mason Mount, is out for weeks and Ten Hag now desperately needs reinforcements in the center of the park before the window closes this week.
The Red Devils have been interested in Fiorentina play breaker, Sofyan Amrabat, all summer long and are prepared to make an offer to hire his services.
News – Man Utd move in with talks to sign £9.1million a year star – Report
According to a report covered by Corriere Fiorentina (news image provided below), apart from the Old Trafford club, the likes of Juventus, Atletico Madrid and now even Napoli are looking to sign the Moroccan international.
However, none of the above mentioned clubs have so far taken any concrete steps to lure the 27-year-old defensive midfielder.
The Italian media out claim, from England, Man Utd are prepared to put on the table an offer worth 25 million euros (£21.4million) but they could not go higher.
Fiorentina have played three games in the current campaign thus far and Amrabat has not played for even a single minute.
He is expected to be out of the squad until at least the closure of the summer transfer window and the likely solution for the Viola is to sell him.
Amrabat is a solid holding midfield star with an ability to pass the ball accurately as well. United have been poor in the defensive third and the arrival of the Moroccan can help them.
