The Portuguese news source have mentioned that the South American has got a release clause of 100 million euros in his contract and the Dragons would consider getting around 80 million euros (£68.8million) from his sale.

The 20-time English champions have promised to come back with a new bid and are readying a fresh attack. It is stated that Man Utd are prepared to submit a new bid of around £68.8million that could convince Porto to sell.

Evanilson played a key role in helping the Primeira Liga club win the domestic double last season. He featured in all seven games in the Taca de Portugal and scored as many goals (top scorer) to win the title.

On the other hand, in the league, the 22-year-old forward started 25 games under the management of Sergio Conceicao and directly contributed in 18 goals (14 goals and 4 assists). Even Luis Diaz scored 14 goals and provided 4 assists for the Estadio do Dragao outfit but he moved to Anfield in the January transfer window.

Manchester United will be without Edinson Cavani next season and last term, they heavily relied on 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo. Ten Hag needs to bring in a young and quality striker who would serve the club in the years to come.

In your view, should Man Utd splash £68.8million to sign Evanilson?
