If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are interested in hiring the services of Italian international, Nicolo Zaniolo.
According to a recent report covered by Il Messagero, the Red Devils are in the race to sign the Roma playmaker, who has other suitors in the market as well.
The Italian news source have mentioned that currently, the 22-year-old, who will be out of contract in 2024, earns a salary of around 2.3 million euros per season (£37,000-a-week ) and the Giallorossi are looking to offer him a deal worth 3.5million euros per season.
However, according to Calcio Mercato, the Azzurri star wants to reach the salary similar to that of Lorenzo Pellegrini, who takes home around 5 million euros per season.
CM claim that Man Utd have strong interest in Zaniolo and they continue to press for him. Naturally, the 8-capped international likes to play on the right wing but he has proved to be effective in the No. 10 role as well.
In the current campaign, so far, he has started 22 games in all competitions under Jose Mourinho, scored 4 goals and provided 5 assists (Transfermarkt).
Nicolo Zaniolo is a talented playmaker but he has spent majority of the time on the treatment table in the last two years. In your view, is he good enough to improve Man Utd’s offense?
