According to Calcio Mercato, Man Utd are pressing to finally sign the midfielder, who had a rift with manager Maurizio Sarri. It is stated that there is an agreement between club president Lotito and agent Mateja Kezman for the player to leave in the summer transfer window of next year.

In all fairness, keeping in view the current midfield situation at Old Trafford, Rangnick should move to sign Milinkovic-Savic next month.

The Italian news source have mentioned that United are moving with determination to finally sign the 28-capped international, who is going to cost at least £64million (75 million euros). His current contract with the Biancocelesti will expire in 2024.

Milinkovic-Savic is a versatile star, who can be deployed anywhere in the midfield but naturally, he is a creative central midfielder. In the last campaign, the former Genk man directly contributed in 18 goals (8 goals and 10 assists) in the Italian Serie A.

As far as this season is concerned, so far, in 16 league starts, he has scored 5 goals and provided as many assists for Lazio under the management of Sarri.

In your view, should Man Utd bid £64million to finally sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the January transfer window?
