Transfer: Man Utd to submit £22.4m-£23.3m bid to agree deal for signing any time – Report

Yesterday, Florian Plettenberg revealed the initial offer made by the Old Trafford club was turned down but the player is eager to join them.

Another German source in the form of Abendzeitung Muenchen have reported the figure Ten Hag’s team put on the table.

AZ claim Man Utd reached the fee of £25.8m but the Bundesliga champions opted to reject the bid. The star defender is still thinking about leaving and may have played his last game for the club.

Even today, The Mirror have mentioned that Pavard is valued at around £25m. Still United’s offer was refused.

The famous British news outlet claim, after the rejection, the Red Devils are still in talks as they push to get the deal over the line.

Bayern know they will lose the French international for free next year if they do not sell him this summer. However, they find themselves in a complex situation with just over two weeks remaining in the transfer window.

The German giants were close to luring Kyle Walker to improve their right back position but the deal for the Manchester City star collapsed. That is perhaps why they are holding on to Pavard despite United’s considerable £25.8m bid.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
