Man Utd ready to agree £200,000-a-week terms to get signing done – Report

Rice and Sancho for England

Manchester United continue to be linked with Jadon Sancho and the latest reports are interesting.

According to Bleacher Report, Man Utd are ready to agree £200,000-a-week terms and hand the England international the coveted No.7 shirt to get his signing done from Borussia Dortmund.

Transfer: Man Utd have made contact to sign £44million star – Face competition

B/R have mentioned that the German side want in excess of £100million from the sale of their prized asset and it is looking likely that the winger will move to Old Trafford.

Since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009, several players have worn the No.7 shirt but unfortunately, things have not worked out well.

The likes of Owen, Valencia, Di Maria, Depay failed to live up to the expectations and the latest holder, Alexis Sanchez, turned out to be a massive flop and is now spending his time on loan with Inter Milan.

Sancho, who has so far directly contributed in 36 goals in 35 appearances this term, has shone at Dortmund wearning the No.7 shirt and hopefully, he will do the same at Old Trafford.

As far as his wages are concerned, the Three Lions star is already earning £190,000-a-week (The Mail). So, offering him just £200,000-a-week (as reported by B/R) after a hugely successful campaign makes little sense because he surely deserves a bumper pay rise.

Last month, Irish Independent reported that the 20-year-old star is looking at a deal worth £400,000-a-week, which will make him the highest paid player at the club.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming months.

  1. Sancho would certainly be a PRIZE catch for ManU. Hope all is true about his eventual move to the Red Devils.

  2. Please get him before window period opens to avoid Haaland saga. Talking without action will not help .
