Man Utd ready to agree £51.2m signing ‘without negotiation’ – Report

Bremer - Brazil

Manchester United were lucky to earn a point against Brentford in the last league game as once again, their fragile defense was on show.

The Red Devils have let in 40 goals in 29 Premier League games thus far and it looks highly unlikely they will feature in the next season’s Champions League.

The backline must be improved on a priority basis and the name of Bremer remains heavily in the focus.

According to a recent story covered by La Repubblica, the 27-year-old defender’s contract with Juventus has a release clause of £51.2m (60 million euros).

The famous Italian media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd are ready to agree the £51.2m signing of the Brazilian ‘without negotiation’.

There will be no need for talks if United opt to activate the termination clause.

It is reported that the economic situation of the Serie A giants have forced them to consider offers for star players and in such a scenario, Bremer could be offloaded in the summer transfer window.

Bremer has helped the Old Lady keep 13 clean sheets so far in the league but at the weekend, he was on the losing side as Lazio defeated Allegri’s men 1-0.

Whether or not Erik ten Hag remains in the job at Old Trafford, Ratcliffe must spend adequately to reinforce the squad in the summer and a top quality center back should be lured.

In your view, is Bremer good enough to solve the defensive conundrum at Man Utd?
