Manchester United are heavily linked with Napoli and South Korean star, Kim Min-Jae, and the latest updates coming from Italy are intriguing.
Yesterday, Corriere dello Sport revealed the Red Devils could “do crazy things” to secure the Serie A star in the summer transfer window.

The Rome based source claimed that the Naples based side want to extend Min-Jae’s contract and alter the release clause in his contract.
As per Ciro Venerato, Man Utd are ready to agree a deal worth £84,000 a week (5 million euros a season) to sign the 26-year-old in the summer.
However, the Old Trafford outfit are not alone in the race to lure the Asian star. The Italian journalist stated (via CalcioNapoli24):
“Liverpool, Manchester United and PSG are the ones most interested, ready to guarantee him €5m net per season by paying the release clause, which fluctuates between €50-70m.”
Napoli have the best defensive record in the Italian league this term, they have only conceded 16 goals in 27 games and the Korean star has been brilliant for them.
So far, Min-Jae has helped Spalletti’s team keep thirteen clean sheets in the league, four in the UEFA Champions League.
Despite signing Lisandro Martinez and Malacia to reinforce the defense last year, Man Utd have conceded more goals this season in 26 games than they did in the last campaign.
Therefore, Erik ten Hag needs to further strengthen the department and Kim Min-Jae would be a quality signing.
