News – Man Utd advance – £29.5m star is willing to move to Old Trafford – Report

The Red Devils submitted an initial offer of £55million to hire the services of the Cameroonian international but the bid was turned down by the Bees.

Now, as per The Daily Mail, Man Utd are preparing an improved offer and are ready to bid more than £55million to finally seal the signing of Mbeumo.

The British media outlet have mentioned that Brentford are demanding in excess of £60million to part ways with the African, who was without doubt their best player in the last campaign.

After a dismal campaign in the Premier League, Amorim needs to reinforce the squad at the earliest to prepare them well before the start of the new season and the good thing is that they are doing exactly that.

The Old Trafford outfit have suffered heavy losses and therefore, they may rely on player sales to secure key signings.

The likes of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were brought up from the academy and offloading them can hand Amorim the necessary funds to adequately reinforce the team.

Rashford is an unwanted man under the management of the Portuguese boss, who loaned him out to Aston Villa for the second half of the last campaign.

On the other hand, Garnacho has been told that he can find himself a new club in the summer transfer window (BBC).

Last term, only Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak directly contributed in more goals than Bryan Mbeumo, so he would be a top signing for Man Utd, who only managed to find the net 44 times in the Premier League.
