Report – Man Utd ready to submit offer to sign £34million star if this happens

Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Liverpool fullbacks, Alexander-Arnold and Robertson, have regularly provided assists under Jurgen Klopp. However, Manchester United fullbacks have not been productive in the attacking third.

To reinforce the left back position, Ten Hag has already lured Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord. As far as the right back role is concerned, the Dutch manager has got another Netherlands international on his wishlist.

Transfer: Man Utd edging closer to sealing £68m signing, prepared to agree personal terms

Yesterday, we covered a story claiming that the former Ajax boss is not satisfied with Dalot and Wan-Bissaka and wants to lure Dest from Barca.

Today, La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image provided below) have reported that Man Utd are ready to submit an offer to sign Denzel Dumfries if Ten Hag sends Wan-Bissaka away from Old Trafford.

Inter Milan are looking to sell the 26-year-old, whose contract will expire in 2025, for a fee of 40 million euros (£34million).

Dumfries won the Italian Super Cup and the Coppa Italia with the San Siro outfit last season and was brilliant in the right midfield/wingback role. In all competitions, he directly contributed in 12 goals.

He became the first Dutch player to score 5 goals in a Serie A campaign for the Nerazzurri since legendary forward, Dennis Bergkamp (1993-94).

For the senior national side, the former PSV player has so far scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists in 35 appearances.

In the most recent round of Nations League fixtures held last month, the Oranje star netted 2 goals in as many starts under former United coach, Louis van Gaal.

On the other hand, last season, Wan-Bissaka made 25 appearances for Man Utd and failed to score/create even a single goal.

In your view, should Ten Hag sell the former Crystal Palace defender and bid £34million to sign Dumfries?
