Ruben Amorim has taken charge as the new manager of Manchester United and the Portuguese tactician will be keen to bring in his own set of ideas.
To implement these ideas, the 39-year-old might also have a few transfers in mind that he wants to make.

Manchester United had quite a significant summer in terms of spending but it is fair to say that the results on the pitch, at least under Erik ten Hag, were not that satisfactory. Ruud van Nistelrooy has managed to steady the ship in his brief stint as manager though.
One player that new Man Utd manager, Amorim, seems to want to bring in is Barcelona midfield star, Fermin Lopez. As per Spanish source, Fichajes, United are ready to go all out and are willing to bid around £83.2m to sign the La Masia graduate and bring him to Old Trafford to play under Amorim.
Unlike many players who come through La Masia, Fermin wasn’t a child prodigy. He wasn’t someone in the academy touted for greatness like Gavi, Lamine Yamal or Ansu Fati but through sheer hard work and dedication, he has broken into the first team.
Xavi Hernandez, the ex-Barcelona coach, brought Fermin into the first-team picture and decided to give him a starring role.
The 21-year-old has continued to be an integral part of the setup under Hansi Flick and even played a starring role with two assists against Bayern Munich in the Catalan club’s 4-1 win.
He has a very unique trait in midfield. He is very clever, almost always makes the right runs and finds himself in goal scoring positions. Once he gets in there, he also has the finish to match his intelligence, at least on most occasions.
While Fermin Lopez would be an excellent signing for Man Utd, spending £83.2m on him might not be worth it.
If the Red Devils want him, it should be at a more favorable fee and one would hope that Dan Ashworth manages to bring it down during negotiations.
